i liked what I saw out of Davis. Wilds was good last year. I think we will be ok.

Wilds is a guy that does some of the things well that Marcus did for us. I like him in our offense better than Miles to be honest.

Davis will be an absolute beast going into the fall.

Don't sleep on Salley and Jamari! Salley is a tank with teeth and Jamari is a under-rated STUD. Racking up huge yards in Florida's highest level of play in Florida.

I will be very surprised if Wilds is not our number 1 guy coming into next season. Barring any injuries we will have an experienced second option(non backup role) in Davis, and a lot of unproven talent behind that (with or without Carson). Very talented though!

We thought we were stacked at RB last season. We finished the season with 2 healthy RB's (3 if you count Carson in the bowl game).

You can never have too many RB's in the SEC.

IMO we ARE loaded at RB.....of course you could have a hundred RBs on your depth chart, but if 99 of them are injured then you have a RB depth problem. SO, obviously they have to remain healthy....

But in our system over the past few years, if we have 2 healthy RBs to turn to in any game, then we are typically fine. As was posted above - at least for next year - also having Shaw at QB is like having another RB on the field to turn to: he was 2nd in rushing attempts the past 2 years behind Lattimore. In 2010 Garcia was 2nd behind Lattimore, and in '09 he led the team in rushing attempts.

We'll have Wilds, Davis, and Salley returning from this season, and will also have Smith and Williams incoming as long as they pass admissions. As long as our RB depth remain healthy in '13, we will BE loaded. What happened this past season with all the RB injuries was very unprecedented and hopefully won't happen again for a LONG time, if ever....

Wilds had some big games for us last year and I hope he's ready to carry the load this coming year. I still think we will run the ball at least 30 times a game.

Carson is not giving up football. He will be back next year with a lot to prove. All he has said is that he doesn't plan on being in college for 6 years, not that he woldn't play football anymore. He has told me point blank that he will be back next year and will challege for the starting spot. I guess we will see. Just don't count him out.

exactly. people on here love to take a tiny comment, and extrapolate an entire novel out of it. he never said he wasn't going to play football. he wants to play baseball and football, and doesn't want to stay in school for six years. and he will be a beast next season.

Davis doesn't really remind me much of Lattimore. He's smaller and stockier. He reminds me more of Dyer.

The last time I saw Wilds it looked as if he had bulked up a bit, his build was already bigger than Latti's due to the height difference. If he shows his ability to see the field and create yards beyond contact, he could be special next year.

if the oline isn't better no one will rack up yards. its time to get the oline trained up. tried of seeing them standing around out there. it was hard enough for marcus to get any yards with the mediocore oline. i look forward to watching all of them. what about pharoh cooper he must be good.
