Just would like to see more black I the uniforms and alternate helmet eithe garner of black. I'd rather or standard helmet be garnet with a black alternate.

I don't care what they change. Just leave our white helmet alone. Plus, Under Armour has a lot of appeal to kids these days. They are kind of the "it" thing. Can't speak for their football equipment but when it comes to golf shirts, shorts, etc, I prefer Under Armour over Nike.

I'm personally happy that our sponsor isn't Nike, so we don't have to wear a combat uniform during every big game we play. The only combat uniforms that looked good were LSU's all white uniforms. The Florida uniform was OK, white helmet with the "F" looked good, but the weird wings on the uniforms were pointless. Ohio State and Michigan State "throwback" made me want to barf, and Missouris helmet looks like it has a pot leaf on it from the back.

And, they made the worst uniform I've seen in my life.

I really like these. I do not think we need to go a Garnet helmet all the time but it would be nice to see it every once in a while. I really like stripe on the pants and helmet.

For those preaching that we need to change from UA to Nike, you should remember the insulting offers that they have made to us in the past. They have had their chances to be our supplier and based on their offers to become that, they weren't interested. We started our current upturn with UA, I say we work with them where they are having some problems and stick with them. UA was one of the first companies to employ the use of wicking materials in their uniforms. Wicking is the process where the fabric pulls or "wicks" moisture produced by the body (sweat) away from the body...hikers and back packers use this all of the time...it makes a difference. I don't know how many companies are using it now, but they were one of the first. Also, I think only Maryland (where their owners/starters graduated from) and Auburn have used UA longer than us...so, we have a little clout with them.

Also...Nike is going to continue pumping their profits into Oregon.

Can't remember exactly when - late '80s or early 90's - we used the garnet helmet with block C and with small gamecock in the C, and it was voted by tv sportscasters as the most recognizable helmet on tv. I loved that helmet - had a lamp made from one.

Well for one they are the best in the business. That's a pretty good reason to have some obsession.

I do know UAs fan wear is a lot better than Nike. Cooler jackets, sweatshirts, and even t's in my opinion.
