Have any if y'all that say you don't like hockey actually watched it? It's an awesome sport. There is absolutely NOTHING that compares to playoff hockey.

Watched it a few times on tv out here in phoenix and its pretty entertaining. I think the issue (in SC anyways) is that it's not quite as accessible to watch or attend as the metropolitan areas

I hate that they already canceled the Winter Classic...would have been the largest crowd to ever see a hockey game this year...and the All-Star weekend...the NHL All-Star draft is an absolutely awesome idea...but I could not be happier that we will have top flight hockey soon.

Yes, I've watched it. I've even been to a few games- even went to one in Canada with a couple of locals to try and explain some of the more obscure rules. It still didnt take. Maybe it's partly because my eyes aren't great, and as as result- it's tough to follow the puck. Another is that, similar to soccer, I just find it a frustrating sport. Each time the team I happen to be pulling for get close to the goal, all it takes is one stray stick to undo everything.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but what about it being very easy to score do you find exciting in the sports that you do enjoy?

But excited for the Canes season. Nice offseason moves to a young team.

I say they meet the Rangers in the ECF. (Okay that's just me being optimistic, it will probably be Penguins-Rangers)

I'm not lookin for ease to score, but the ease with which a defense can undermine an offensive play is frustrating.
