It doesn't mean that the schools is necessarily that much bigger. It just means that there are way more schools, so they have to have more divisions to keep each division a normal size. It just means that they are the biggest in Florida, which yes, is probably pretty big, but you can't tell from just the division

With early offers, Chubb had the numbers, but the overall question was the top-end speed. Namely, did he have any? That questioned has been answered after one day at Rising Seniors. Chubb had the best burst and had the coaching staff raving several times with highlight runs during the inside drills.

This young man created a buzz at North Atlanta Thursday afternoon. He had a good morning practice, then had an even better afternoon practice. He ran for over 2,700 yards in 2012 and he is a high three-star on Scout at this time, but he will add that fourth star early in the new year. He is quicker than expected, he got to the edge numerous times against some fast linebackers, and he showed toughness sticking up inside against a very good defensive front. He is a better back than many may have thought entering this event.

There was talk a while a go that we were one of the first teams on him. I don't believe we ever offered which I think is a mistake. I don't know that it would have mattered in the end seeing how UGA will be tough to beat for him but the kid is a stud.

Different types of backs

Admittedly, things can change.

He hasn't, after all, visited a few other programs that could become factors.

But for right now, three programs stand out, four-star running back Nick Chubb of Cedartown (Ga.) said at Saturday's Nike SPARQ Combine.

"It's Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn," Chubb told 247Sports. "Those visits stand out and those schools stand out. That's my top three, no order. That's the top for right now. But I haven't been to Ohio State or Florida yet."

Why do the Bulldogs, Volunteers and Tigers have an edge over the field at this point?

"I've got good relationships with them, and I've probably been there more than anywhere else," Chubb said.

He added that "Tennessee and Georgia are recruiting me the hardest."

According to the 5-feet-11, 216-pound Chubb, the No. 12 running back in the 247Composite, he will visit the Gators in two or three weeks and the Buckeyes in April. Georgia Tech is another school that could get a visit from Chubb.

"I'm trying to get down to Florida next," he said. "I've been calling them the last couple of weeks. They seem very interested."

Chubb's most recent offers have come from Nebraska, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin.

Cedartown running back Nick Chubb showed that he has another element to his game at the Rivals Camp. Chubb showed up in great shape, and was impressive with his ability to be physical with linebackers and get separation on intermediate routes. When linebackers would try to redirect the Rivals100 prospect, he would use his upper body strength to extend out and while exploding out of a cut. He also showed soft hands and an impressive comfort level with the passing game.

The way ESPN words the article, they make it seem like USC is making a charge.

Chubb, the No. 95 overall prospect in the 247Composite, was outstanding. In camps, running backs sometimes can be tough to evaluate. But Chubb made it easy, particularly in blocking drills. There, the 5-feet-11, 216-pounder wowed with his strength. At the point of attack, he was relentless, and utilized his powerful base, arms, leverage and footwork to put on a blocking clinic. Because of that he was invited to The Opening. Physically, Chubb already appears to be college ready.

He would be a great back to have along with Scott in this class. Scott has the quicks, Chubb is a power back. Plus the t-shirts would sell quickly on campus "My Cock is Chubb"
