There isn't one definite #1, but there are about 5 or 6 guys who everyone likes. They would be better off picking someone in the second round at QB or trying to trade for one of the many QBs who will be available.

I always heard from UGA fans after the first year under Grantham that his 3-4 would only be dominant if there was a true nose tackle in the interior. Now with both Jenkins and Geathers leaving, who else do y'all have to replace them?

Jonathan Taylor will be a RsFr and is around 330. Was an All-American DT in high school and carries a lot more lean mass than Geathers or Jenkins did. John Atkins is on campus now (EE) from Prep School and is around 310-320; played soccer in HS and seems like a pretty solid athlete. Chris Mayes was Grantham's handpicked NT but had to go JUCO out of HS. He's on campus as well and most think it'll be Mayes/Taylor pushing for the starting job. Mayes is around 335-340. Mike Thornton was our 3rd string NT this year but is a little light in the britches at 305 and would be best moved to DE.


Kwame REALLY struggles with his pad level and got pushed around too much this season.

KC is prolly in the worst position they could imagine. I'd assume they would try and trade down and draft a WR&OL. They could bring in a QB in the offseason and last I heard Bowe and KC weren't seeing eye to eye. Bowe just is not the man, they might just have to take a QB though because with all the turnover the regime might need something to hang their hat on.

LSU is losing Reid, Montgomery, Minter, Mingo, Logan, Simon, Wing, and Ware for sure.

Loston and Faulk are also considering going.


That doesn't include the Seniors who are graduating.

Luckily for LSU, it is one of the few schools in the country capable of overcoming losses like that. Just send in the next line of former 4 and 5 stars and future NFL players.

On another note, huge fan of Minter and Mingo. Both top 15 picks and both will be really good in the NFL. Not as high on Montgomery and Reid as others are.

LSU RB Michael Ford now declares for NFL. Takes total to NINE juniors leaving early and rumors are circulating that Miles has totally lost the team at this point.

Could potentially lose a couple more before Jan 15th deadline.
