Noticed a bunch of that on my Facebook tonight so I had to stir them up a little bit. They think that just because we pulled for Bama and are touting the 7 in a row by the SEC we think that it makes us a better team. While I won't argue on the semantics of that I will say that we are arguably the 4-5 best team in the country not in the sec or around 6-8 overall. As stated in another thread...we are one of 4 teams in the country to end the last two seasons in the top 10.

There are a lot of people who are so ruined by the SEC that they actually rooted for Notre Dame. Notre Dame. I'm not one of the conference homer types, but I mean, damn. They rooted for Notre Dame.

This is absolutley killing Clemson fans of all people the most I think...It is hilarious to prod them on Facebook. Us beating them 4 years in a row, the SEC winning a championship and us basically one upping them first thing the next day after their great game is killing them. Add to that they start the season with a L to UGA most likely they are going to go into meltdown mode. If somehow they get throttled and we turn around and beat UGA it will be amazing. Great time to be a gamecock.

Agree...clearly not the best LB around and won things that he shouldn't. Jarvis Jones should have won some of that if anyone else.

He said Barrett Jones not Teo was gonna going to make some one happy. He definitely didn't hurt his stock

Gotta say, AJ McCannon living up to the nickname. He was awesome last night and has the look of an NFL QB to me. Certainly a changeup from the game manager he was last year and that McElroy was.

You are kidding right? Dude was basically on one wheel and still kept is QB clean all night and made great protection calls. He has one of the worst foot injuries you can short of amputating it and crushing it under a steam roller. In fact, as mentioned on the radio today it is the type of sprain that almost ended Duce Staley's career and the first "successful" surgery on it wasn't done until the 1990's. Barrett Jones should be a mid to high first round pick and will probably start or challenge for a starting position quick. The best part is he played 3 different positions on all three of the national championship teams.

On the other hand I hope Te'o killed his draft stock now that you can see what he does against NFL quality speed. He got ran over, through, and thrown over all night last night. It was embarrassing for a Heisman finalist to lay an Egg like that in the game but honestly his stats weren't that good. Not in the top 25 in sacks or tackles for loss either.
