Mark Barnes was another guy who started out at WR.

Also remember reading (might've been something from C2 or on Cocky talk at least) that Demario Bennett was tearing it up in practice/scout team before he left the program.

Yeah Bennett was coming along very nice and was pushing for playing time then he messed his knee up during the end of Fall camp I think. Kind of set him back and he just fell behind some guys.

USC's recruiting plan has changed so much since 2005. A lot of these guys that projected better at other positions came to USC because USC offered them a chance to play offense. But it ended up being a gift and a curse. We got them in the program but they just couldn't cut it. Whereas lately, basically since Beamer, we've done somewhat a better job of getting guys that "fit".. Sort of like what 75 posted. We got more guys that have higher ceilings at the position.

Moore - 50%
Ngakoue - 50%
Rodgers - 70%
Foster - 5%
