If USC played in Tempe, Pasadena, New Orleans, or Miami

Midweek BCS game.

How many fans go? Especially out West?

I imagine the trips to South Beach and New Orleans would draw a good crowd. Although I worry that the price of Miami would possibly keep a lot at home.

I wondered about this the past week.

If it is in New Orleans, I am 100% going no matter what plans I have I will cancel and be there.

I went to the Sugar Bowl when it was VaTech and Auburn, it was one of the best times I had in my life... Damn that city is fun for new years.

99% chance I go to Miami (I live 2 1/2 hrs away how could I not)

60% chance I go to Pasadena - Rose Bowl how could I not

40% chance I go to Tempe - Don't really know what there is to do in Tempe besides hot college girls, and I am not looking for those anymore.

I would. No doubt about it. I don't care where. If we played do national title in football, I'd be there. I don't care where. If it meant taking my vacation in January, oh well.

And I think it would be a good crowd. Just look at us in Omaha. I know some were locals but a lot were people from here that went out there.

Idk, most of these BCS games have packed out crowds. I know not all those in attendance are fans of the schools but ill be damn if it doesn't look packed. And I guess with everyone complaining about home game attendance and the poor showing at the SEC Championship, I would be concerned a little bit. A lot people said the same thing about playing in Atlanta (that they would go if USC ever got in that game) and that place was dominated by Auburn fans.

Sugar Bowl this year was a poor showing on UF's part though. I heard a lot of their fans blamed it on the opponent. Don't think who USC would play would cause people not to come but i do think distance would.

Yes, but to make a trip just for a 4 hr game, I don't know if I could definitely say I would do it. I was trying to be as honest as possible with my thoughts.

i was thinking about this same thing today.. with the playoff format coming to college football a team could have 3 extra games potentially at the end of their season... conf championship, playoff, and nat champ... the average fan now has a hard time springing for a bowl game... and this years bowl games looked to have poor attendence overall so I just wonder how fan bases will do it

If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I'd travel to where ever we were playing. Unfortunately all my Jack is earmarked for the foreseeable future. Peeling off over a grand for season tickets is about my limit. Still, I'd travel to the SECCG ..............

I worked the 2003 Sugar Bowl between UGA and FSU, that was an awesome experience. BCS Bowls are big time fun.

And thats only with a four team playoff. What happens if it goes to 8 or 16. Hell, we might not have a Champion until mid March or whatever. With that many games being played teams will need to be expaned just to get through a season. And I thought the BCS was bad.

I would definitely travel as most of our fans would. We are a loyal bunch. At least I like I think we are. I'm most likely moving to Houston in a few months so I will def try and travel when the cocks play @ TAMU and LSU.

My wife and I have always said if we go to a BCS game, we are going...dont care where or what it is...

Next in line is SECCG, which we did not go to the first time

It's a long trip for any of them for me, and I'm poor. If it were the national championship game, I'd try to scrape the money together for some place on this side of the country. I won't be going to Tempe. My ex lives there and bumping into her would ruin the experience.

Now, if I hit the Powerball one of these days, I'd go where ever and whenever. I'd have money to help keep me thinking about my team and not about my ex!
