True, it did play out that way. But I remember hearing from the radio that ESPN was trying to keep it quiet before the media reacted to it heavily. They were hoping that it would blow over, but that was not the case.

Let's see 'em. I didn't think brent was overly creepy; the man was trying to come up with something to talk about besides the slaughter on the field. I think he's more creepy when he talks about Clemson and the Esso Club. He's just overly enthusiastic about everything.

I think you're right. I also think it went on too long. Had he said she was McCarron's girlfriend and was a beautiful young lady, that would have been fine. The other guy saying, "Woah!" and the comments about quarterbacks getting the beautiful girls was too much.

Maybe she is dating him only because he's a quarterback, but I'd like to think she'd date him whether or not he played football. Makes her seem a little shallow. But then, she's the one who chose to go the pageant route, and it sort of comes with the territory.
