from Bovada... some of these are pretty good, some of these are completely insane:
Alabama 5/1 - (not much of a payout, but who's gonna stop them? could very well end up at 4/1 by the start of the season) Oregon 8/1 - (also pretty good, I'd like it A LOT at 10/1 though) Ohio State 17/2 - (good team, wrong conference. B1G is horrid and won't be better next year, I'd take at 20/1) LSU 12/1 - (they are losing way too much, I'd stay away unless they got 25/1) Texas A&M 12/1 - (losing a lot too, but they get the MVP in the country back, not bad odds) Florida 14/1 - (turrrrrible. should be about 22/1 with their schedule [we get them at home]) Florida State 14/1 - (like OSU, good team, easy schedule, but no proof they can play with the big boys, still decent odds though.) Clemson 22/1 - (could fluctuate based on Boyd's decision, but these odds are pretty good, they are not that far behind FSU, have a similar schedule and are getting way better odds, that said )Louisville 22/1 - (HORRIBLE. undefeated UofL gets jumped by any two 1 loss teams from the big 5 conferences) Notre Dame 22/1 - (seems about right) Miami 25/1 - (HAHAHAHA- WHAT.) Oklahoma 25/1 - (not bad, I don't think they have a great shot, but they have the talent, winnable schedule, and good odds.) South Carolina 28/1 - (A very real take, manageable schedule, real good odds) Georgia 28/1 - (seems about right, but I'd definitely pass.) Nebraska 28/1 - (hahaha, nope.) Stanford 30/1 - (I'd take them at 20/1, great value) Texas 30/1 - (great odds for a young, talented team) Michigan 33/1 - (about right) USC 33/1 - (NOPE, maybe at 40/1, MAAAAAYBE) Oklahoma State 40/1 - (I'm taking this bet, my pick for the surprise team of next year) UCLA 40/1 - (great odds, but they have no shot w/Stanford and Oregon in the way) West Virginia 150/1 - (far from a BCS frontrunner, but damn these odds are enormous, I might put a 10 spot on that) I can't help but wonder... How on God's green earth do Clemson and MIAMI get better odds than us and Georgia??? Miami probably won't even be eligible!!

My only guess would be strength of schedule. We can safely assume that ours and UGA's will be way tougher than any ACC team

UGA at 28-1 surprises me, considering Murray is coming back.

Think Oregon is the best bet at this point. Not losing a ton and schedule, unlesss I'm forgetting something, isn't tough. Basically just have to deal with Stanford with SoCal breaking in a new QB.

Isn't Louisville ACC now? If so, I could see them running the acc next season.

I think Louisville doesn't join ACC until 2014

Clemson and SC play very comparable schedules going into next year. Both play 3 top 10 preseason teams (FSU/UGA/SC and UGA/UF/Clem) and a group of mediocre teams. OSU's schedule is terrible by all measures.

When you reference that both Clemtech and Carolina also play a "group of mediocre teams", that has a very different meaning in the SEC as opposed to the ACC. A mediocre ACC squad couldn't beat some SC highschool teams.

Oklahoma avoids winning big games like Oprah avoids jogging. Do not waste your money on those odds.

Miami at 25/1 has to be out there for name recognition only. Vegas is hoping to get those casual voters to throw some money their way.

if they wanted to make easy money they should make the odds really enticing something like 600,000,000,000,000/1...

Miami? Who? Also, shocked that LSU is so high considering everyone jumped to the NFL from that defense. They also lose their 2 best WR's I believe.

clemson had amazingly good luck with injuries last year. we have depth, they don't(except at WR). if any of their guys go down they will lose a couple more next year IMO.

I just saw Bama's 2013 schedule. WHAT A JOKE. The hardest game on their schedule is at aTm in week two. They only have four road games and it's @aTm, @UK, @Auburn and another in there some where. Looks like Bama will beat aTm due to aTm losing three guys off their O-line and well..It's Bama. If we make it to Atlanta we WILL be facing Bama.
Also unlike us, they don't have 3 road games in a row. How in the **** does this happen?!

exactly, winner of that game could easily be on the brink of a NC, and both with a really good payout.

Clemsux at 22-1, even playing in the acc, who outside of Pickens County can believe this??? Anyone that believes what Dumbo is saying, deserves to lose their money. I don't think he has ever heard of "truth in advertising".
