NBA Back to Seattle

Rumor going around is that the Kings have been sold to a Seattle based group. Will the Sonics come back, I sure hope so. I was always a Sonics fan before they moved to OKC, now I'm a Thunder fan. I'd still be a Thunder fan, but I've always liked the Sonics name/logo/brand

Man this would be great. I moved to Seattle from NOLA and I miss having an NBA team around. I hope they get here before I have to move again.

No fanbase deserves a team more than the Seattle fans. They absolutely LOVED the Sonics and got absolutely hosed with how they left.

Well I am definitely the expert on this one. I have lived in Sacramento for the last 11 1/2 years so let me chime in on what I think about this.

It sucks.

The Maloofs have taken a franchise that had the best fans in the NBA and killed it. This team was once the best ambassador of the city. The teams with Webber, Vlade, and Bibby were probably the most exciting team since Jordan's Bulls.

The Maloofs are selfish, greedy idiots. They have RUINED every business they've ever had - their beer distributorship, The Palms, and now the Kings. They are pretty much broke. They had a deal with the city of Sacramento to build a new arena but they backed out stating they never agreed to certain things. Then they go whoring themselves out to anyone interested who will give them money and a free arena.

Last year, a southern California business owner offered to buy the Kings and build an arena. Maloofs said they weren't selling. Now, they are dumber and more broke than they were last year. For their incompetence and turning their backs on the city and its fans, they want to be rewarded by selling this team for millions putting money in their pocket they didn't earn.

Selfish, idiotic, incompetent, greedy, stubbon baffoons. The city deserves this team far more than the Maloofs deserve even a penny for that they did. Seattle deserves an NBA team again. It shouldn't be the Kings and it definitely shouldn't profit the morons known as the Maloofs.

The Kings once had a streak of 340 consecutive sellouts (or something like that). This started back in the days the team was awful. Fans here have always been supportive and loyal. I promise you that there wasn't a louder arena in the NBA than Arco.

Maloofs have killed all of that. It's sad. The fans are tired of the failed arena deals and the drama with the Maloofs. As all of this has happened, the team has absolutely tanked. We can't afford good players any more and are a horribly run team.

Please don't dis this city, the team, or the fans. There was a time when there wasn't a better, more loyal fan base in the NBA and many NBA players who didn't play here will tell you that. Vlade and Webber still love this city. It's sad to see what has happened in just a few short years.
