I don't why a lot of people are shocked Bruce turned the ball over. He's just a turnover prone player. He's been a turnover machine since his freshman year. Gets caught in the air off his feet making wild passes multiple times some games, steps out on baseline a lot. Love the guy but fact is he has turnover issues.

I hate to say it, but we should have eased Bruce back into the rotation. Last time he came back, Frank played him a lot of minutes and he missed nearly every shot. I love the guy, but he hasn't been with the team enough to play that many minutes on his return.

Page not going to class really screwed our chances of being remotely successful this year. Hope I'm wrong with that assessment, but it ain't lookin' good.

This was a game we should've won.
Miss. State ain't that good (niether are we of course)....
I will say that I hope Bruce sticks to football...because he just isn't as strong a Bball player as he is a football player.

Not pinning the loss on him...we just don't have size or depth right now.
Not having a healthy Carrera really hurt tonight...but on a bright note, B-Rich played very well.

I'd like our starting five to change a little next game...maybe put Brenton on the floor with Eric and Brian...and hopefully Carrera will be healthy to join Lakeem for a starting five.

We only got 11 points from our bench. State got 22.

State didn't hit a 3 point basket, we hit 8 of them.

Brenton Williams only play 8 minutes whereas Chatty played 18.

As stated before, Minda played 30 mins and had a goose egg in the points column. He wasn't productive anywhere else either with only 4 rebounds and 1 assist.

State had FOURTEEN steals.

A lot of the turnovers are lazy or stupid things. Lazy passes, taking your eyes off the ball when your double teamed, leaving the floor with the ball with nobody to go to, etc...

Growing pains I know that sounds like a cliche but right now Coach Martin has taken over a program that was left in shambles by a very inept coach. It will take a couple of years for Martin to get his players and his scheme in place. It is still a heartbreaker though.

I think MOST of the turnovers were from lazy or stupid passes, definitely not the way a team should be playing in their 14th game of the season against their weakest SEC opponent.
