He's awfully tall. Any idea why we'd be the only offer for a 5'7" 165 lb Fla RB? I suspect it's because he's faster than lightening, correct?

wow... looked electric in that bit of film, great instincts, great cutting ability, looks like he can catch too, we might want him as a slot guy, or some kind of combo... it could really pay off that we're on him so early.

Remember he is a sophomore in high school right now so he has time to get bigger and faster.

RB Wadzaire Blanc (5-8 170) of Lake Nona, FL has offers from Florida Atlantic and Florida International with interest from Clemson, USC, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt. A shoulder injury kept him out of his junior campaign which has programs taking the wait-and-see approach. "South Carolina has contacted me more," Blanc said. "I haven't heard much from Clemson this year because of my injury." He named Clemson and USC his favorites with Clemson as his leader. "I really like Clemson because I've always looked up to CJ Spiller." As for USC he said, "They're telling me they like how I run and they want to see if I can come in and be a team player." Blanc is focusing on strengthening his shoulder as does not have plans to visit any schools. "I think teams want to see how I do in my senior season," said Blanc.

RB Wadzaire Blanc of Lake Nona, FL received a verbal offer from USC following his sophomore season. He missed his junior season due to a shoulder injury but still hears from the Gamecocks. "Ever since I got hurt, pretty much everybody stopped talking to me except for South Carolina," said Blanc. "I talk to coach (Everette) Sands a lot. He just checks on me to see how I'm doing and tells me to make sure I'm doing well in the classroom." The attention from USC has Blanc favoring the Gamecocks. "They just care about me," he said. "I won't forget that. We don't talk a lot about football. They just want to make sure I'm okay." Blanc has not taken any visits this year and says he is focusing on getting healthy for his senior campaign. Florida Atlantic and Florida International are his other offers with interest from Clemson, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.

Interesting offer. Sounds like the kid is starting to get emotionally attached to us. I feel bad because this kid will never see a garnet jersey.

USC assistant coach Everett Sands visited RB Wadzaire Blanc of Lake Nona, FL. Blanc says Sands came by with a word of encouragement as the Florida product continues to recover from a shoulder injury that sidelined him for his junior season. “He told me to keep working hard and I can accomplish anything,” said Blanc of their visit. “He just wanted to see how I was doing. They’re still my favorite.” The Gamecocks offered Blanc following his sophomore season prompting Blanc to tell the Orlando Sentinel, “I have always wanted to be a Gamecock.” Blanc’s other offers are from Florida International and Florida Atlantic. He says his shoulder is at 80 percent. “I am trying not to focus on me (and my shoulder),” said Blanc. “I’m just looking ahead to the season and doing whatever I can to help the team.” Blanc will not take any visits this summer and is in no rush to make a decision.
