I am absolutely shocked that some of you are even pondering this idea of him staying and thinking he would. Clowney will be gone after 2013 no questions asked. There is no way he or anyone else would turn down millions of dollars vs staying in school.

To echo what Cack said, he was clowning around... Perhaps he was doing this as an experiment for a class to show the significance of social media today and how fast "news" can be spread?

Remember that huge amount Chan Gailey gave CJ Spiller? Spiller got in prior to salary caps. There is no way Spiller is worth near as much as Clowney. I don't know how much Suh received. What is the price of rookie salary caps?Gilmore and Melvin went first round. I am sure JD knows how much they got. Stephon has been to some of our games this past season, along with lots of other players and these guys talk. I am sure there are ways to pay the salary cap at year one but offer money other ways. Clowney he needs to go play with the big guys. For selfish reasons I want him to go to grad school and play for us, BUT he needs to go. There is a point in a persons life that u have to let go. He is getting close to needing more of a competitive challenge.
