Legal contract question

If you enter into a contract to place an ad in a local magazine and the appearance of the ad has not been finalized, and nothing has been done on the magazine's part, other than taking a picture, can I get out of this contract or am I stuck. Contract has been signed and credit card number entered on the contract, BUT, credit card has been canceled.

Yeah talk to a lawyer since it probably depends on the wording of the contract.

Why you give them your credit card number, sign the contract and promise to pay them without you reviewing the ad first. Unless the contract says your written approval is necessary, I think you owe them.

If you end up owing them, why not go talk to them and ask them to run another ad free but only after you approve it first.
