Actually those projects are with the current class of underclassmen. Also I had a friend who was drafted back in 2000. 4th round pick. 3 years 1.5M. So Ace will be making solid money.

he was a second to third round projection as of yesterday. Number 10 WR without any regards to return ability. Ace will get drafted. Show out at the combine he is a 2nd rounder

Bruce was our leading receiver...as far as yards...Deamiere had a better year and if he continues to progress will be a very solid WR...ESPECIALLY on the go routes b/c i don't think many DB's could catch him. Also Deangelo Smith caught a few passes and a TD this year and could make progress to be a go to guy as well as KJ Brent who caught a few passes this year as well (also has great size and showed great hands in practice and scrimmages and was a coaches favorite...just not enough experience this year). Also...as i have stated before...we have a lot of talent that redshirted and that are expected to be big time play makers...Roland, S Jeff, K Smith, Jody Fuller...these guys along with our TE core...Busta, Rainey (if he don't play LB), Drew Owens, and Jerell Adams (who i think is gonna be a BIG TIME go to guy) will give Connor and Dylan (or if Mitch or Noso steps in) PLENTY of targets to have a great passing game this year!

pro football weekly has him as 2nd-3rd round and nfldraftscout.com has him as the 10 wr

Welp, either way, Ace is one of my all-time favorite Gamecocks and if he does opt for playing on Sunday then I wish him the best. I do think that if he stayed around for another year he would probably be no worse than 2nd round and likely a 1st rounder....unless of course, he were to be injured, which may be what is driving this decision.

I doubt the staff goes after one. They have Braxton Berrios, 2014 kid, that resembles Ace. We'll put Kwinto Smith or Shaq on the outside.

Would love to have seen him play another year, but a smart move by Ace. His name is pretty hot right now, and we could be back to running and short passes with Shaw next year.
