We will be taking nominations for the next 2 weeks for the Cockytalk Favorite Gamecock Football Player.

Please consider your nomination well, as we will only be accepting one nomination per member. Please use your nomination post as your arguement as to why your nominee should be the voted on ie.

Jeff Grantz.

There were so many really good players in my lifetime that I saw and
witnessed them do some awesome things for Gamecock Football. Sharpe,
Rogers, Taneyhill, Dendy, Abraham etc... Tough to pick a single best
player from the pool of players in my lifetime, but if I had to pick one, it
would be Jeff Grantz. Absolutely the most athletic and talented player
I've ever seen. He was a guy who could litterally carry a game on his own
at times. He could make an impact in a game is so many different ways.
He's was and remained 100% Gamecock. The guy was an awesome display
of energy.

Steve Tanneyhill was a winner. Had tickets to the Miss State game when we started 0-5. No one but the diehards were there because it was a noon kickoff. Won the next 5 of 6 and almost made it to Atlanta!
