pretty much the entire defense is gone. Jarvis, Ogletree, Rambo, Williams, Robinson, Gilliard, Smith, Jenkins, A. Jones, and Geathers.

look good on offense. only losing T King and Marlon Brown. 2 big players, but have a decent selection of receivers left.

as far as Grantham going to the Eagles, who knows? He's a great DC, but I feel his schemes sometimes confuse the college kids. He has more of a pro scheme mindset in my opinion. Just have to wait and see with that.

Man, I was looking at the LSU players who won't be returning. they are losing a LOT of good players on defense. Mingo, Montgomery, Minter, and Reid leaving are going to hurt. I'm sure they have some great talent behind them, but those are some real play makers leaving.

True. they have some really talented kids to use, but most have not seen any real playing time. the first few games next year will be very hard on kids with little experience.

I read somewhere that the highest paid NFL DC is knocking down about 700k. if thats true, I can't see Grantham leaving, as he is getting over 800k at UGA. if he goes to the Eagles, its gonna get pricey.

it's nice to have nearly 100% come back on offense. they can score a lot of points, and if UGA is to win, they will have to, lol. they will have to offset the yong defenses possible shortcomings. maybe we get lucky, and some of our freshman step up big on defense. it would take a Clowney, Manziel, or "Gurshall" type of freshman year from a few kids, to have a somewhat decent D.
