Default Columbia lunch for tomorrow
Headed to the game tomorrow with our next door neighbors. One of them is a Vandy alum.

What is good in the Vista for lunch before the game? No chains. Must serve booze.

Love Motor but looking for some other recommendations. Nice places like Motor or low key bar ideas are welcome.

She's spot on too. That place is awesome, I haven't gotten anything that I didn't enjoy. $3 or $3.50 for good craft draft beer too.

Place was slammed when we got there at noon. We had passes to the McGuire Room so we went in there and ha some subpar BBQ and a few beers.

Definitely want to try the Thirsty Fellow on the next go around.

Without a doubt, for lunch, go to Motor Supply. It's the freshest food in the Vista and is only open for lunch. Delicious.

If you don't go there, go to Liberty, Pearlz, Thirsty Fellow (may be okay - depends on the day; you will deal with student-traffic though, as it is right next to three student parking lots), or a sushi place in the Vista. Blue Marlin is overrated, Gervais and Vine is (I don't think) open for lunch, Wild Hair's food is disgusting, and most of the other places are chains.

Motor supply is very good. It is open for diner dont know why you would think it is lunh only.
