ESPN3/WatchESPN
ESPN3 really frustrates me. Why not allow everyone to use the site? I hate how you have to belong to the few affiliates they allow. So many times I've wanted to use it but I can't because I have Directv.

It's a pain in the ass. There are alternatives. I would pay a monthly fee to watch ESPN3 direct to ESPN. But try won't let me.

If ESPN allowed a monthly fee to be paid directly to them to watch ESPN programming on a site like ESPN3, I would cancel my cable today.
It's really the only reason I have cable anymore. Every other channel is crap for the most part.

We have Verizon FiOS, so we get ESPN3...and not only that, we get access to all ESPN channels on our mobile phones through the app.
As far as an "added service", we probably use it more than anything else provided to us outside of our normal broadcasting...more than we use Netflix, Hulu, etc. It would definitely become a factor had I moved and was forced to choose another provider.
