i think he is coming here....no inside info just a gut feeling....i think him and NaTy are gonna play together even though they said it isnt a package deal....I think Yannick just wants to make sure before he jumps on board

Did Yannick have any kind of relationship with Lawing....and will Adams help us any here. I know he's not his position coach, but he is a good coach with a great reputation.

I doubt it since our staff knew about Lawing prior to his hiring by Fla. Steve helped him go to Florida. A good write up of that was in the Greenville News today. Whammy talked about Lawing problem in general. He said it was not a football problem, but a personal family matter. Ward said he had tons of people wanting that job. Apparently we got what Spurrier and Whammy wanted.

Fwiw Yannick lives in DC, not MD. However, where he lives (or where his high school is) is 15 minutes at most from UMD's campus.

Yeah I don't think we cooled on him. It's quite strange how yesterday he says we're in his top 3. If he goes to Florida then good luck to him. He's going to need it...

Please somebody help me understand how a kid from Florida has Southern Cal
(Cheatin U, fighting in locker room after bowl loss, tons of NCAA sanctions, lying coach) in his top 2. I am at a loss for a reasonable explanation. I could understand Oregon with Kelly, but Southern Cal is a lousy team and not likely to get much better. They were by far the biggest underperforming school in the country this year.
