It's a great deal

I love Prado, but he was gonna demand 10-12 million for his contract extension, while we were thinking more like 8.

We kept Simba, Bethancourt, Venters, O, and Teheran.

And Chris Johnson is a solid 3rd baseman as well. He and Francisco should be fine. (And to Chipper, the door is open)

Also we still have 10 million left to spend

I think this is a great deal for the Braves. I hate seeing Prado go, but it was probably best that he did since we probably weren't going to resign him anyways.

If the Braves can pitch this year, and I think they can, and get a healthy McCann to produce like we know he can, and get the Uggla we saw with the Marlins, watch out.

I'll say what Matt Vasgersion told Ken Rosenthal this morning on Hit Stove when he brought up the Ks.

That's like saying this 5 star steak and lobster dinner needs a little bit more salt.

These guys are all young. Strikeouts are going down. BJ and Justin needed a change of scenery. Now they're together. All these guys have more protection in the lineup. BJ and Justin are going to make each other better. You can't look at the Ks man. They all have really good OBP numbers. Just look at the potential this lineup has. Dan Uggla is our worst player and can easily hit 30 HRs this year.
