Who takes Lattimore in the draft?

Hopefully anyone with good ownership, a smart front office and a team that doesn't need him to produce right away. Regardless of what he says, he needs a season with limited playing time and reduced chances at taking shots on those knees so that he can slowly work his way back in to playing shape. He hasn't completed a full season in college and he's not ready for 16 games in the NFL just yet either.

Jets, Bengals, Chargers, Jaguars, Lions, Falcons. Only teams I think will go after him.

Wonder if he will used as a 3rd down back early on.. He can catch great out of the backfield, and had success with screen & draw plays. Also great in pass protection on 3rd downs.

My bet is the Broncos, Packers, Steelers, or Rams.

I think he'll fall to the fifth. I could see the Falcons picking him up. Turner is spent. GB, STL, CIN, and OAK are other places I could see him going.

Didn't think of that, you would expect him to go under the radar and the Panthers should be familiar with him more so than any other team. Hes a damn good back, I'll say that much.

With regards to Marcus, the Falcons are his favorite NFL team. I'm a Panthers fan and despise the Falcons, but I'd love to see him stay close to home with his favorite team (a team full of former gamecocks and local guys at that).

Whoever suggested that they don't want Marcus to play on turf, that's also a nice point. Others may be able to shed some light on the differences between turf and natural grass, but if grass is more forgiving when it comes to planting ankles, pivoting, etc than I'm all for Marcus playing on natural grass. This whole turf v. grass thing may sound overcritical, but the last thing we all want to see is another serious injury to the last guy on the planet that deserves it.

No , I just feel that way. I see them thinking that they could use another power back to compliment turner .i don't follow the falcons or pro football much so I am just purely going by gut feeling.

Well, the Falcons are in works of planning and approving a new stadium. They are either going with a retractable roof, or your ordinary open stadium. They want to get rid of playing on artificial turf. If they go retractable, they will tear down the Georgia Dome and build it there. But, if they don't go retractable, then they will keep the Dome and build the stadium at a new location.
