AT&T U-verse Outage

Have any of you U-verse users experienced any issues?

I was considering switching, but I am not so sure now.

AT&T customers are seething about a multi-state telecommunications outage that has knocked out TV, Internet and phone service – including emergency 911 calls – for tens of thousands of businesses and households.

In what is now the most widespread outage to affect U-verse since AT&T introduced the service in 2006, subscribers have reported outages since Monday throughout the South and Southwest, covering more than half of AT&T’s 22-state territory.

On Wednesday, as the outage entered its third day, AT&T had still provided scant details and was unable to say when the problem will be fixed. U-verse delivers a “triple play” package, an industry term for cable television, Internet and telephone service using Voice over Internet Protocol.

Mine has never gone down, until now. All networks/systems experience this from time to time; from cell networks to cable/internet providers. I'm sure it'll be back up soon. It's the best TV service I've ever had. Blows my local cable company out of the water

Mine hasn't gone down. It will be interesting to find the cause of this though.

From time to time sure. However, I don't think I've ever seen an outage go for quite this long before.

Uverse is the balls. I didn't experience any outages. But I was also out to dinner.

Would have been the first such issue ever.

I highly recommend UVerse.

I have uverse at home and haven't had any problems. However, we have it at work and have been without internet all week. MAJOR pain in the buns. Especially considering how much money we pay them every month. And working in a law office, our day revolves around having internet, email, etc. Thankfully my boss is ready to put a boot in somebody's rear.
