Absolutely not. I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. It just doesn't make sense if T'eo was gay (ie likes males) why the Ron guy would pretend to be a female to play out his payback. T'eo wouldn't be interested in a female. I get what people are saying that he used the girlfriend as a cover for actually being homosexual, but if Ron knew T'eo was gay he wouldn't pretend to be a female because T'eo would not be interested in her. Unless maybe they were conspiring together to come up with the fake girlfriend for T'eo, which could be the case. But then it wouldn't be a payback scenario.

Yet another case of the media jumping a case before all the information is out so they can throw the public into a frenzie and sell advertising. The Tuiasosopo dude has serious issues. And once again, Te'o is a football player, not a PR guy or a politician. I can't blame him for carrying on in an attempt to avoid embarrassment.

If he was gay, why not come out with it now? If anything this would get everyone off his back, and every gay activist out defending him. If a GM didn't take him in the first round, the media would be all over them for being homophobic.

No, I think Manti really was fooled, but I think the other guy was REALLY in love. I think Manti was embarrassed by it, didn't want anyone to find out, and then figured out that dead girlfriends get you lots of national attention so he just went with it.
