I'm in Spartanburg now but i grew up in Union. My nephew played some travel ball with AJ. He's as advertised. Going to be built like his dad. AJs got a little brother too. 7th grade same build.
I thought this was a cool story about a kid with good potential, very driven. Even better he's from my hometown. Even better his mentor is a tater and AJ wants to be a gamecock! Too young to crown yet but hope he pans out.

my son is an 8th grader and he played football...he wants to be a Gamecock...he actually had the defensive coach at Blythewood High talking to him yesterday...who knows how it will all go...
