Not saying this is the case...but some players look to be pampered by coaches and to "bow down" to them to get them to come to our school...he could be this kind and i don't think our coaches are going to do that. Also...again...may be looking at the positives too much...but it COULD BE that this kid might not have the attitude that our coaches like...like in the past...our coaches have visited and talked to players who had a bad attitude...really big recruits...and SOS told them to change their attitude before they come. HOpe this is not the case b/c we need this guy but just saying...in case some haven't thought about this. Just remember to trust our coaches...they know what they are doing

You shouldn't even hint that this may be the case on a players thread. If I was him, I would be po'd that it would even be on my thread. Recruits read forums, or can you comprehend that? Your post is an example of the worst of our fan base. Stick to facts, your posts would be more legit.

If the determining factor for this guy is fan support, I personally think we'll be hard to beat. That said, who knows what the determining factor will be? Such is the case with a lot of recruits.

Would love to land this guy though.

Last week before he came to Columbia, he said he probably would go ahead and commit if we offered. We offered. I still think he will commit to us but maybe the NC St OV came up all of a sudden and he figured out he didn't need to commit till after his last OV.

He seemed like a very smart, reserved, quiet kind of guy that doesn't do a lot of talking....a little like Skai Moore. It's only 7 to 7.5 hour drive to Columbia.

First, I think he is bringing family members, so I don't think he is taking the OV lightly. Second, I think the OV here will open his eyes about our program and we will definitely move up in his opinion, However, when he leaves Sunday, he still will not have made up his mind. So we won't know till NSD.

He indicated that he wanted to honor his word to NC State to visit them. That is to be commended. I think it is proper not to commit until after that final visit in deference to the host school.

Whether or not he selects USC is one thing, but I feel certain that our coaches do everything reasonable to reach these kids. No matter what approach you use, some things appeal to one kid, while the same thing doesn't mean a hill of beans to another.

We'll be fine no matter the end result.

#1 I simply was saying this may be the case with any recruit...not just this one. Not saying anything negative about Senat...I don't know anything about him & am not insinuating anything...just simply taking up for our coaches who some think are doing a poor job bc we haven't closed the deal with this kid yet
