Help me understand why people are so excited about bringing back the Charlotte Hornets name. Yeah it's a link to the past, but the Bobcats aren't popular for 2 reasons.... they suck and the people of Charlotte didn't want them. How does a name change that?

Please, bring the Hornets back to Charlotte. Even though the Hornets have been gone for 11 years, they are more widely recognized...I can walk into stores in the mall in Greenville or Spartanburg, and buy Charlotte Hornets gear, but not Charlotte Bobcats.
