**USC vs. Arkansas GAME Thread**

The Gamecocks return to Colonial Life Arena on Saturday continuing SEC play when they host Arkansas in a mid-day matchup. The meeting marks the 25th all-time between the two schools. The game will be televised on the SEC Network with Mike Morgan (play-by-play) and Barry Booker (analyst) on the call, while fans can also listen on the Gamecock IMG Sports Network via GamecocksOnline.com and on 107.5 The Game in Columbia with Andy Demetra (play-by-play) and Casey Manning (analyst).

Gamecock head coach Frank Martin and his staff will be wearing tennis shoes for Saturday's game against Arkansas with their suits during the 10th annual Suits and Sneakers (#SuitsAndSneakers) weekend, which is presented by the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Arkansas enters Saturday's contest with a 12-6 overall record, including a 3-2 mark in league games after a home victory vs. Mississippi State earlier this week. The Razorbacks posted a 27-point win over the Bulldogs, while dishing an impressive 27 assists, 11 blocks and 29 forced turnovers in the contest. Sophomore guard BJ Young leads the squad with 16.9 points per game, while his 4.1 assists per game are also a team best. Junior forward Marshawn Powell also provides double-digit points with 15.3 per game, and his 5.4 rebounds lead the team. The Razorbacks suffered three-consecutive losses at the end of November, against Arizona State and Wisconsin in the Las Vegas Invitational, before suffering a loss to Syracuse in the SEC/BIG EAST Challenge. Since that time however, Arkansas has won nine of 12 contests. In overall games this season, Arkansas ranks first in the SEC in assist to turnover ratio (1.4), second in scoring offense (79.6), third in field goal percentage (45.9%) and third in blocked shots (5.7). The Razorbacks are led by head coach Mike Anderson in his second season.
