Was Gill and Harris because of Horn? I know Ramon was and did we really ever have Holloway (T'eo's girlfriend comes to mind). Anyway, looks like a Top 20 team.

Gill and Harris left because Horn was fired. They didn't want to play for Frank. They would get yelled at.

It is pointless to judge a player on how he WAS under a different coachl. comparing a guy from two years ago who played under horns style is ridiculous.

Steals is but one aspect of playing defense. He is not a good defender. He definately would not be playing for Frank Martin. He has attitude and doesn't defend or rebound. He would be the poster boy for exactly what Frank Martin does not want.

People are posting that if he had never left he would be so great here. I'm saying he left because he had an attitude and could not play D. Maybe being forced out made him realize he needed to change? But to say if he had stayed he would be a completely different player than he was while he was here is what is actually ridiculous. He could only be judged on what he had given to the Gamecocks. Not much...

In SEC play, averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 27.3 minutes per contest. Here are Brian Richardson's as a soph. Averaged 3.2 points, and 1.0 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game ... In SEC play, saw action in 10 games, averaging 2.6 points per contest. Here are Brenton Williams from his soph year. Averaged 6.1 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 14.0 minutes per game ... In SEC play, averaged 6.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and shot 40.0 percent (20-50) from 3-point range. Not even going to bother looking up Eric Smith's b/c if you think Smith would start over Galloway then you haven't watched many basketball games. I would take Ramon Galloway starting at the two spot right now, I believe Frank probably would as well.
