He was obviously good enough to be an emergency back in the Clemson/Michigan games. H was redshirted, out of sight out of mind. He's fine.

He did not play in 2012 so he should still have three years left to play. This year was good year for him to get healthier, stronger, bigger, faster and deeper into the playbook and blocking schemes. Plus he will be even more adjusted to college life.

As good as he was his true freshmen year, I believe he will be a true star (along with Mike Davis) in 2013.

Wilds is going to get a lot of tough yards and keep the chains and clock moving.

I hope he can be one of the leaders next year.

He had a slight ankle injury that was going to cause him to miss a few weeks of the season.

The way Miles, Lattimore and Davis rotated in the early weeks helped the team decide to keep Wilds out and let him stay eligible for a redshirt.

I heard he became a dad last year so that probably was part of the decision also.

Wilds would have been ready to go if he was needed (say if Lattimore, Davis, and Miles were injured at the same times and Carson was not healthy)

Only question I have is whether or not he actually played vs. Michigan. The announcers called his name several times during kick coverage and I did see #22 out there. Who ever it was, it did actually look like him too, similar build and all. Of course, he was dressed out on the sidelines as well.. There is no question that #22 played. The only question is who it actually was.

Should be an interesting competition next year with Wilds, Davis, and I'm guessing they're going to give Williams a look, too - he's listed at 6'1" 192, with 4.45 forty. So that would be a good mix of physical types, and maybe abilities too (power vs speed).

Davis and Wilds will be an excellent combo. Glad they both got some experience and its time we put the ball in Davis' hand more and let him do work and get that confidence flowing. Williams will get his shot in fall camp but I am looking forward to seeing what Jamari Smith is bringing. Watch his film kid is sick and was really underrated.

LB Kaiwan Lewis wears #22 and played on ST all season and in the OB Bowl. Wilds did not "blow" his RS and has 3 years of eligibility left.

I remember them calling Wilds on a special teams play because #22 was out there but it wasn't him. It was freshman LB Kawain Lewis. Lewis is bigger than Wilds but Wilds is a few inches taller.

as much speed, and cuts the newer runningbacks bring to the team I hope they know that they can get on the field quicker if they work on becoming better blockers.

That is a general statement.
