Even if the CBI causes us to lose money, that shouldn't stop us. We have plenty of money to spend on that tourney. I would hope we would accept any postseason invitation we get.

Any extra practice time is good, but I don't think we would accept a CBI bid. NIT would be great in Frank's first year.

If we can continue to progress, continue to get better...... we could make a good run in the NIT I believe......

Here is our remaining schedule...... I think if we can go 6-6 in our remaining games, that puts at 8-8 league, and 18-13 overall. This would get us in the NIT I believe......

Now that the NCAA controls the NIT, I don't think 18-13 will get us in. Keep in mind our RPI is near 200. Regular season mid major conference champs get automatic NIT bids now days if they don't win their conference tournament. This really limits the field.

To make the NIT now days you need a RPI under 100. That could be hard for South Carolina to do. Arkansas won 18 games last year and didn't make the NIT FWIW.

SC would have to improve their RPI by 100 spots for them to even be considered for the NIT.
