Try don't wan to run the risk of missing out....then add in the fact that the state of SC has some really good players in this class and many of them have already said that Carolina leads with them. You are fighting a battle you will not win nor should you win because twitter produces CREDIBLE NEWS these days and to try and keep CREDIBLE NEWS away from fans that want that news is not going to happen. You are wrong in saying that twitter posts on here because the mods aren't "active." Posts get deleted every single day on here. They see the twitter posts too. It is ridiculous to think otherwise. They don't delete them because it would be ridiculous to do so. If a 5 star recruit goes on twitter and says "I am going to South Carolina" and then someone comes on here and posts it, do you really think the mods are going to delete that?? You do realize that is what draws people to the site don't you?

If someone posted on Cockytalk that Clowney went on twitter and said "I am thinking about not playing next year," you really think that is going to get deleted? What.... we have to wait for Joe Schad to RT the EXACT same tweet? Because you do know that is how it is going to spread, right? If Clowney tweeted that, it would be spread through twitter. Sorry, but that is not going to be held off of this message board and thinking that is funny. It is what drives people to the site.

His offers include USC, Clemson, Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, Southern Cal, Tennessee, Indiana, West Virginia, Washington, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, NC State, Duke, Boise State and Missouri among others. "I really like South Carolina because I've built a good relationship with coach (Lorenzo) Ward and coach (Kirk) Botkin," said Allen-Williams. "My mom really likes coach Ward and so do I. My first game there was when they played Georgia and the fans were awesome. They stayed engaged the entire game. It is my favorite visit." Allen-Williams was at Clemson for the NC State game. "It's a really loud environment and the fan base is crazy," he said. "I really liked it there too." Allen-Williams is set to announce August 9th and plans to see as many schools as possible prior to his announcement. "I want to make sure I pick the right school so I want to make sure I check to see what's out there," he said. As a junior he recorded 99 tackles and 18 sacks.

Long time USC lean DE Bryson Allen-Williams of Ellenwood, GA attended the USC junior day Saturday and the Gamecocks remain his very strong favorite. "I had a great visit," Allen-Williams said. "I spent a lot of time talking with coach Ward. And I had a good sit down conversation with coach Spurrier. He was telling me about the things they have done and are going to do and how he wants me to be a part of it." As strong as Williams is on USC, he's not ready to make a commitment because he wants to make other visits and doesn't ever want to be in a position to make a decommitment. He will visit UCLA next weekend and Georgia the weekend after that. Some of his other offers are Clemson, Florida, Southern Cal, Washington, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, ,Vanderbilt, North Carolina, NC State, Duke and Missouri. He has had Clemson, Southern Cal, Florida, UCLA, Washington and Georgia Tech in his top group behind USC. He has set August 9th for his announcement date.

The UGA offer is very troubling. Maybe this was the offer he was waiting on. I was under the impression he already had an offer from them.

Anytime UGA is involved for a recruit, particularly one from GA, it's always concerning. That said, he still seems to be a big lean to us, and hopefully he is a Gamecock.

I mentioned before that UGA was the only school I was worried about. If they make a huge push it's going to be hard for us.

The good news is that we've been on him for awhile and he and his family really like us.

Momma implied USC was #1 for her (after the UGaly offer), but stated it wasn't her decision. This is a key point. It seems BAW will not be pressured from the mother's stand point.

She took UGaly's explanation for why they just offered as being dishonest.

She spends equal time on both 247 boards (USC & Georgia) to cover her bases. Smart move on her part.

Getting a verbal from BAW would be huge. I feel it highly unlikely he would renege on a commitment. High character family.
