Fail to see how this is a "miss." We just got involved with this kid recently and he's committing to an in-state school with a solid tradition.

Guys, if it isn't a hit then it is, by definition, a miss. We didn't land him......it's a miss. Luckily it's not a bad miss.

A miss to me is Tramel Terry.

Not Walton who is from the state of Alabama and "dreamed of playing in the iron bowl". Had Auburn offered in the summer this recruitment would have never even happened.

It's amazing how many other schools jumped in once we starting recruiting him. On a coaching level, that is the ultimate compliment.

It's a little annoying though when we were the first SEC program to discover him and recruit him and then a terrible football team takes him away from us. Funny how he wasn't good enough for AU before we started recruiting him then all of a sudden he was.
