**USC vs. Florida GAME Thread**

South Carolina faces a tough road test in league play this week when it travels to face No. 4/4 Florida in Gainesville. The contest marks the first for Frank Martin in his native state as head coach of the Gamecocks. The contest will be televised on the SEC Network with longtime voices of the league in Dave Neal (play-by-play) and Barry Booker (analyst) on the call for the 8 p.m. ET matchup. Fans can also listen on the Gamecock IMG Sports Network via GamecocksOnline.com and on 107.5 The Game in Columbia with Andy Demetra (play-by-play) and Casey Manning (analyst).

The Gators enter Wednesday's game having won their last eight games, including all six of their SEC contests. Florida owns a 16-2 overall record, with its only losses coming at Arizona and at Kansas State. The Gators have not lost a game since Dec. 22. Senior guard Kenny Boynton leads the team and ranks 12th in the SEC with 13.6 points per game. Senior forward Eric Murphy adds 12.8 per game, senior guard Mike Rosario provides 11.8 per game, and junior center Patric Young adds 11.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest. Junior guard Scottie Wilbekin was named the SEC Player of the Week earlier this week after averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 assists in road victories at Georgia and Mississippi State last week. Wilbekin ranks second in the conference (behind Missouri's Phil Pressey) with 5.7 assists per league game. Wednesday's game marks just the third SEC home contest for the Gators in 2013. Florida is 8-0 in home games this season. The squad is led by head coach Billy Donovan in his 17th season in Gainesville.

If you live in Columbia and have Time Warner Cable, it supposedly will be shown on the WOLO, ABC. Channel 5, 105, or High Def 1105.

They won't show it on ABC at night because of the usual ABC primetime programming.

My guide says it'll be on channel 4 WKTC. I do not see it on a HD channel unfortunately. This happened for some Clemson football games this past season, they would stick the game on the crappy channel 4 with no HD option.

Ok, I wondered that. I found it odd that WOLO would show a basketball game during the week, I know they do on Saturdays. I'll check channel 4 then. Thanks for letting us know.

Hope to catch the Gators looking ahead to Ole Miss game this weekend.

I really would love to see this team go at least 3 for 4 in these next 4 games. Don't care which 3 teams they beat. It would be such a massive turn around for this program. At the very least win the next 2 home games.

We are not favored by any means, but I bet we won't lose by more than 12 or 13 points. Our energy should keep us clawing back and we should be able to respond to their runs. I don't think we'll be able to score much in the paint. I expect driving and dishing and lots of 3's. If we can cash in, who knows. This game is about assignment defense and keeping Kenny and Co. out of the lane. I expect a big game from the freshmen.

Shoot like we did Saturday and why not? We got in a game with Mizzou last Tuesday. Now Florida did beat Mizzou by 31 a few days before.

it is for basketball as well, but only on Saturdays, during the week it's channel 63 or channel 4 on TWC.

Im excited about this game, it will really show who we are as a team, and how far we've come, and still have to go.

This game could be interesting. Both schools average about the same amount of ppg but Florida gives up about 10 less than USC. USC is the better rebounding club. If our guards shoot well, it could make for an interesting night.

I tell you what though, these upper tier SEC clubs need to get their shots in on Martin while they can because next year's squad is going to be night and day from this years.
