If anything, I think Carson and Christian make it just because we need people in the OF. But anyways, all offseason on here it seems the talk has only been about the football crossover players.

What have people been hearing about the newcomers who play baseball only?

According to Coach, if he had to produce a lineup today the OF would be:

Saiko, English, Costen

The IF appears to be:

1B - Dantzler
2B - Schrock
SS - Pankake
3B - Vergason
C - Greiner

Said Schrock is a special hitter, would be batting 3rd. Can't remember what he said about Saiko, but sounded pretty impressed. Said Costen is an athlete that needs to be on the field.

Coach think Christian will be starting sooner rather than later.

e payne isnt hardly talked about but that guy can sure hit the baseball. looking forward to seeing him play

Martin's in that same category. Batted nearly .300 with almost no mention.

Martin's hitting tailed off quite a lot as the season rolled on, plus he showed little "punch" in crucial situations especially later in the season. Payne, on the other hand, had some clutch hits and can run well. He is like our utility player and should see the field more often. IMO

Martin did not hit well at all since the 1st part of the season and he had a very slow bat on the fast ball.
