But he hasn't decided. Magnus is going to his school tomorrow to talk to him. I've heard all the crap about how good MD recruiter is, well, he had his in-home yesterday with their coach and yet no decision. Smart kids like Yannick aren't easily persuaded by some fast talking
recruiter. Every day that passes means things are going more in our favor.

Skai is also a very smart kid. He was going to go to either Arky or Tenn this weekend, but he didn't. If he had, it would mean he isn't satisfied with any of this choices and is still looking. I think he is trying to find a reason to pick Rugers or Vandy, but he just can't find it because he now knows that Carolina gives him everything he needs....a great place to play football on a national stage, and a place where he can get a good education. His choice is clear but he is taking his time making sure he's doing the right thing....as I said above, he wants to be sure he is making the right choice.

Do I think we're getting all these kids, of course not, we may not get any. But if you look at all the facts, I think you have to agree as each day passes, it seems that is working in our favor. Winning games on the road are tough, but not impossible.

To some kids it's more important to have their parents watch. It's not the end of the world USC will have many more shots to land a LB.

How many Maryland games did you watch this year? I would guess it was one, maybe two max. They certainly "have the horses" to push for a bowl bid in the B1G, which is also very weak. People seem to forget they lost five QBs last year and they have Stefon Diggs, who is a better offensive player than anyone in the B1G.

I actually watched 5-6 Maryland games, but thanks for assessing my insight so condescendingly. They are awful. Yes, some of it was due to injury, but the Big 10 is much more competitive than the ACC (how many big 10 games did you watch this year? With all of your Maryland watching, I'm guessing 1-2 max) and one WR does not a team make.

Also: maybe you've heard of Braxton Miller? heisman candidate and QB? He's better and more directly effects games than Diggs. Please don't try and compare where we were in 2008-2009 to a team coming off a 2 win season in a garbage conference with a mediocre coach and a recruiting ranking in the 40s. You make yourself look foolish.

If Edsall is given time to bring those players in (and Yannick could be like a Stephon Gilmore for them) Maryland has the ability to be a good program again.

Granted they won't keep up with Ohio State or Michigan.

Well, I mean how are you going to second guess a staff that takes a guy that most people thought was offered just because he was lattimore's buddy and develops him into...I mean I was highly critical of the QB recruiting and only having shaw ready to go and I remember they passed on much higher rated kids in that class or declined to pursue interest early in the cycle. So I kind of have to shut up and write my damn GCC check at this point.

They will not be able to. We were fortunate to have great weather, play in by far the best conference, and have a HOF HC. MD will continue to get plundered, regardless of what Yannick chooses (he will have a tough time against those B10 defenses with that poor DLine)... Diggs was a 5 star and they still only won 2 games. I see them potentially having an O-fer season in the Bg 10 soon.
