Just had my big recruiting weekend, my top 10 guys on my board were in to see me barely beat Baylor.

these past two weeks have been tough for me as well , I had to come from behind to beat UT and UK .

I didnt have to come back in this one but I had to do everything I could to hold on at the end. All because I cant control my turnovers.

While barely escaping with a victory over rival Baylor this weekend, the Red Raiders staff did an excellent job with prospects for next season. There were 10 recruits in to see the game, all of them rated out 76 or higher(76, 77(4), 78(2), 79, 80, 81). Prior to this weekend the Red Raiders led for only 2 of them, and still lead for those 2. However, all visits were rated out at A+ by the recruits and now Texas tech leads for all of them. This includes 2 commits, and 2 other soft commits(these dont include the 2 that were already leader for).

The 2 commits were:
5* Guard from TX, #3 G and 15 overall, rated at 80
5* OLB from PA, #1 OLB and #17 overall, rated at 81(pretty sure I was 3rd for him before the visit.)

As a program, Im in a position I never saw myself being in. With only 9 seniors(and maybe 3 JRs(MAX) that would even consider leaving early) this class needs to be very small. I dont have a single player on my roster thats under 70.

Right now it feels so strange to have guys on my board that rate out in the low to mid 70s range, be 4* guys from the State of Texas. A few of them I lead for(no offer though) and I just cant take them. Specifically there are 3 guys from TX that are in the 70-85 overall ranking range and I just dont have space for them. Recruiting has been very good the past 2 years obviously.

yea CF05 i think i led for both of those commits before you stole them from me, im in the same boat though this class is go8ing to be small but high quality next year i should be be able to take a full class. Im recruiting well in Texas with the exception of your, Daboish tactics, lol.

Yeah I have noticed you leading for several of the TX recruits Im after. Up until this past week I was really worried about this class as these 10 guys I had in for the visit I only led for 2 of them. And like 6 or 7 of them Im going up against other users, and trailed most of them. one weekend has made a huge difference and I just need to close on them now. 2 commits and 2 soft commits is a great start.

I know the Guard I signed you led for, I think you were 3 or 4 for the OLB and I was either 3 or 4. His first 2 were AUB and Miami going into the weekend.

I should be able to get a full class next year as well, im losing 18 seniors next year and id bet another 3-4 juniors will leave early as i have a ton of sophmores playing this year and good.
