Still no decision..maybe something new by lunchtime though. I have to say we're hanging tough though.

I think people should take note that a kid who grew up in Alabama watching the Iron Bowl his entire life with the dream to one day play in it can fulfill that dream, and he can't pull the trigger because of how hard this decision is. That speaks volumes of our coaches and our program, if you ask me. The Iron Bowl is one of the best rivalry games in the country, more nationally recognized than Carolina-Clemson and until recently, one that carried more national significance as well.

Just to clarify, he grew up an Alabama fan wanting to play in the iron bowl. Meaning he wanted to play for bama. That would similar to you living in Spartanburg and growing up a Usc fan and wanting very badly to play in the rivalry game , but not getting an offer from Usc. Clemson wants you though. Stay at home and U get to play in the game but for the wrong team. Its a matter of whether bama not offering is fueling his interest for auby right now.

we have that get away from home pitch and he obviously was interested in that to commit to Penn st.

Torn between home state school and the fact we were his first SEC offer. Will come down to which side of the ball he wants to play on

He never specified that he was a Bama fan to my knowledge, it is possible to grow up in a state and not pull for either school. Maybe less likely, but possible. Penn State was also the biggest school that was noticing him before the SEC took notice.

That was my point, as in why auby would be appealing

Diff situation but I thought abt dj showing Clemson who was wrong also

This drama is too intense. I remember when kids were just excited to be going to a school playing football on a scholarship. It has become so much more.
