I'm sorry, but I just feel like you are a bad parent if you support your young kid getting involved in motocross or snowmobiling like this. I find it hard to feel sorry for the parents.

...and I feel like your a bad parent if you don't support your child fully no matter what he is dreaming of doing or becoming. If some of you are happy sitting on the porch being conservative and worried about dying then fine but don't hate from the sidelines on a sport or a person who was doing what he loved and who knew the risks. If you haven't done anything like racing motocross, cars, or any other extreme activity that gives you an adrenaline rush from the pushing the limit then sadly you will never understand .....but thats not a reason to hate on him, his parents, or extreme sports.
