All his hard work finally began to pay off these last couple of years and he is having more fun than ever since he has been here. He has a staff he Likes, family nearby, an AD he trusts and likes, more goals to obtain, and by and large, not an unreasonable base of fans to endure.

He will stay as long as his health permits and he continues to have a good program and he enjoys coaching. Doubt he even knows how long he'll stay. Low pressure and fun. What's not to like?

Actually, every time he's asked what his and the teams goals are he says "To win the SEC." He's never once came out and mentioned the NC. To him winning the SEC is the same if not more than winning the NC.

I think they go hand-in-hand. If you win the SEC than chances are pretty good you are going to be in the National Championship hunt.

At any rate, Spurrier only has 122 SEC wins. He needs 38 to catch Bear Bryant, if they don't count the Texas A&M wins. If we're still on an 8 game per year SEC schedule, and we win 6, per year, like we have been, it would take 6 years, if we could win 7 in two of those years: 7,7,6,6,6,6. I don't know if Spurrier is going to hang around 6 more years, or, if we can keep winning like we have been. He could do it in 5 years, if we win all the games, every year, and win in Atlanta, but that's improbable.

IF spurrier can get a SEC title here he more than likely we will be in th NC game. With us winning the SEC competition cant play with the SEC so we would get a win. But for him to get a 100 or 115 wins here would be outstanding!!!!
