That's because, I believe (IIRC), that you also posted about how MD was improving and was desirable as a program, as if you were defending an EZZ "brother" as a Hurricant fan. MD can most likely only get better since they cannot get much worse, but there are little to no signs of improvement yet, especially with a coaching staff on the hottest seats in the USA.

Byrd is actually pretty decent, but the fan support is horrible except for when they're good. Williams-Brice blows it away in atmosphere and amenities, the only thing Byrd might beat it in is bathrooms (no troughs if I recall correctly). CP could be nicer but I would rather be there than someplace like Clemson. At least there's shit to do.

Well since UMD is leaving the ACC I would assume most ACC fans are pissed at them and wouldn't be defending them, kind of like how Big 12 schools were with aTm and Mizzou last year. For the record, I am not a Miami fan, my roommate who grew up a Canes fan created this account but stopped using it so I began posting from it.

Would you rather he stay committed and potentially choose another school suddenly, leaving his initial choice in a tough spot because they weren't aware?

Seems to me like decommitting when you're looking is actually the "trustworthy" thing to do.

Better to decommit than stay committed if you're unsure and flip at the last second. If UF was promising him a spot and then left him out they are much worse imo. And this really shouldn't surprise anyone, Muschamp and his staff are a bunch of untrustworthy snakes.

He really seems to hate Florida right now... I know you can't decide your next four years based on revenge, but coming to SC would give him a chance to be a factor in keeping UF out of SEC Championship, etc (and getting his team into it). All of his other choices are outside of the SEC and he wouldn't play Florida.

As I go there at least once a year to hunt w my best friend(yes, every winter- excluding this super warm one-Central Florida has a pile of ducks). I have met a number of big boosters & I promise, bar none, when things are going well for them, they have the most annoying & arrogant fan base-ever . I have always hated them & always will (my buddy, who went to grad school w me @ Carolina, hates them more. He dated one of their top 5 boosters & broke up bc he was an a hole).

Etg, what is your stance on what happened to him with uf? i think its fine to decommit, but if your position starts getting filled you better jump on board before its too late..
