Bruce plays too undisciplined. Seems sometimes he thinks he's better than he actually is.

We add Ty Johnson, Thornwell, and McKie to our guards for next year. I would say that Johnson and Thornwell are both better than any of our current guards. McKie might be as well. We need to sign a power forward and another guard in the spring. But we have no scholarships. Need to free up a couple of scholarships in order to do that.

Because even though we are in a power football conference, that doesn't spill over into basketball.

If that were the case or vice verse, UK would be the Bama of the Eastern division.

Also, we are not and never really been a basketball school. We almost were in the 60's and early 70's, but that's about it.

Outside of UK the best talent doesn't go to the SEC

They've pulled in top classes with NBA lottery picks yearly.
Of course that being because of the program and Cal's reputation

Awful.

Was at the game and it looked like even Coach Martin wasnt into this game. Sloppiness everywhere. Bruce turned it over a lot, we foul way too much, and we had no penetration to the basket.

We don't have anyone who can create space like Downey. Dribble penetration like McKie or Watson is very inconsistent. And if we get the dribble penetration and dish out we don't have consistently good shooters.

This ain't gonna turn around in one year. When a new coach takes a program(unless it's a top tier like UK) his first recruiting class is pretty much leftovers or diamonds in the rough. Have some faith in Martin. He's a coach, not a miracle worker.

We have a senior on this team not doing his part and being a leader.

We have freshmen on this team with more talent and leadership qualities.

I don't see how in the heck USC has given him a four year scholarship..

Phillips would have to be getting it done at Kentucky, not going to happen to complete his analogy.
