Coming up, Gleison Tibau vs Evan Dunham. Tibau is the bigger, more powerful fighter, but Dunham has good BJJ on the ground.

Round 1- Tibau starts power oriented as always, feeling out here. Hard left by Gleison! He jumps into a standing guillotine choke but Evan defends well. Now both back standing against cage. Dunham should stay back out of range here. And he's throwing good jabs at Tibau. Finished the round against the cage.

Round 2- much more with power punches by both guys! Now Evan presses Gleison on the fence. More hand to hand and Eunham stuffs a weak shot. He tries his own shot but has no follow thru. Tibau finishes with mostly counter strikes.

Evan more accurate but both guys are busy as can be! Big mouse under right eye of Tibeau. Big knee to finish by Dunham! Good action in that fight, but I think Dunham gets the decision.

Dunham wins by split decision!

Now we start the PPV card! Great lineup of fights including the opening battle at Flyweight 125# with Joseph Benevidez vs "Uncle Creepy" Ian McCall.

Round 2- Snap on everything being thrown here. JB throwing left and right everything! Now clinched against the fence after failed trip by IM. Now IM with G and P and on JB's back, but back on the feet. Last minute probably got Uncle Creepy the round.

Round 3- JB starts with hard blows to head of IM! Strong kick puts IM on the ground but he gets right back up. BbJB presses in and lands hard body kick but Creepy gets a takedown. Back on the feet now. End of fight, but hard to tell who gets the decision. I believe Benevidez gets a split dec.

Benevidez wins via unanimous dec.!

They gave McCall a round but all 3 judges had Benevidez winning 2 rounds to 1 (29-28 in ten point must system).

I am still a nub at UFC!

I was a big boxing fan back in the day (Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Ali, Frazier, etc.....) but boxing got so ridiculous, I don't watch anymore.

So I have started watching UFC in the last 6 months...... good stuff!

And now we get the UFC's most boring fighter, Jon Fitch going up against Damian Maia. All Fitch does is win but has the lowest rate of finished fights in the promotion.

Round 1- Maia attempts a double leg and works to finish the takedown! Now Fitch on his feet with Maia doing his backpack impression. He almost locks in the rear naked but not quite. Damn! Fitch is hand fighting to avoid the choke. Great fight plan by Damian, who now trips Fitch to the ground. He is wearing Jon out here with knees. Maia with a body triangle lock. Fitch with good defense but can't mount ANY offense.

Round 2- both come out punching and Maia takes him down with a single leg! Back on their feet. Damian trips him back to the canvas. Fitch was a B1G wrestler at Purdue and looks like a peewee here. He's forgotten how to defend a takedown. Maia on his back with a rear naked in! Fitch defends but can't shake the position. Maia just taking what Jon gives him. End of round.

Boring as hell. Nobody wants to watch this kind of fight. BJJ and wrestling are part of the game, but this kind of fight drives people away.
