FWIW, some people, including some of the pay sites, have said there's a strong chance he chooses us Wednesday. I know nothing is final until they sign on the dotted line, but I figured that was worth mentioning.

Just from this one incident you think he could be a bust, before he even steps on campus or plays a down of college football? In that case I'm curious to see what you think about Reuben Foster or Jayron Kearse.

Foster is the one player I do NOT want coming to my school, regardless of what team I am. He sounds just like Vontez Burfict who played at Az St a couple years ago. Bad attitude and a locker room cancer.

Like gasoline being poured on a fire, the recruitment of Reuben Foster will go down as a heated battle between hated rivals Auburn and Alabama. It all ends tomorrow night at 6 PM when Foster announces his final college decision, but it took a dramatic turn this weekend.

The nation’s top linebacker has thought to be a lock for the Tigers coming down the home stretch. Foster has been linked to Georgia, Auburn and Alabama, but most thought even after his decommitment from Auburn that the Tigers were the team to beat. And that has nothing to do with his tattoo.

Foster visited the Tigers this weekend for an official visit, but according to multiple reports, Foster packed his bags in the middle of his visit and headed to Tuscaloosa.

Current Alabama special teams player Christion Jones tweeted “Chillin with my boy Alvin and Reuben tonight” before he deleted the message from his account.

Then reports started to be confirmed that Foster had left his Auburn visit for Alabama.

Seriously if this is the case, somebody needs to get their butts to Tuscaloosa to see what in the heck Bama is doing down there.

You took this the entire wrong way bro. It's not just this one incident, but his overall immaturity level and the fact that his parents WANT him to come to SC to get away from Florida. That to me is an obvious cause for concern. I was saying that if he doesn't get out of Florida and continues to be immature, then yes he could be a bust. Not saying he will or won't do well but either way you spin it, he needs to grow up some.

It's been said by folks out of Bama that AU center Reese Dismukes supposedly used a racial slur toward him on his official visit and said he only enjoyed the attention, so he left and spent the rest of the afternoon and night in ttown. Apparently, this isn't the first time Dismukes has said things to players/recruits.

I was reading the Parade All-America list and Bryant is Honorable Mention, along with Na'Ty Rodgers (listed as "Undecided"), Connor Mitch, and Kelsey Griffin. Yannick Ngakoue is First Team. That is 3 commits and two potential commits on a 57 player list. Last year, we had two - Darius English and Nosovitch. Not too shabby. The difference between Parade's list and the pay sites is that Parade is not trying to sell subscriptions and goes with actual accomplishments, not with politics, who is undecided or is committed to a traditional power.

Bottom line - Bryant is a talent and I would take him i a heartbeat. I don't know why he was sent home but he was trying to do something positive - help a teammate get a look - and probably felt like he had already done his good deed and lost interest after that. We have had other kids with less than perfect backgrounds and they have turned out okay. This is small potatoes - give him a chance.

I would say that there were plenty of "obvious causes for concern" with Victor Hampton too. Wouldn't you?

You are right, he could be a bust. On a team that has 85 scholarship players, some are always going to turn out to be busts. But at the same time, would you not agree that our coaches do as good a job as any in the country and determining who they should take a chance on and who they shouldn't? Especially in the last five years or so.

I FULLY agree...THAT is why I think he'd be better served coming here, considering how many people, Hampton included, that have been able to turn things around. Much more distractions in Miami and Tallahassee than here.

You act like you know these guys. Hampton stayed out of trouble since he's been here. That is all we ask. That doesn't mean he doesn't still have an immature streak. Bryant has not gotten into any kind of real trouble to my knowledge. We don't demand these recruits that we call 'kids" on here be the most mature people in the world. Or have certain personality type. We ask them to come here do what is expected of him. We have some people who are way to uptight and serious on here. Let theses recruits have some fun on their official visits. These visits are about THEM. FAU should really be greatful he even had him in his top 5.

I think after our excellent in home with him and his parents last week, it is now 50-50.

Perhaps the reason his parents want him out of Florida is because some of the negative
influences around him there.

One more thing, he is not rated as highly as Griffin.....good, just not as good.
