Never said I do, but I do know someone on the team. I was under the impression that it was common knowledge that Hampton was on the verge of being kicked off. Again, I'm giving full kudos to our staff for being able to keep everyone trouble free and with that being considered, I think Bryant's best bet would be here in garnet and black.

I'm not sure about Talahassee, but I know that Miami is a place that can drag you down if you're not mentally strong enough. My aunts family stayed literally next door to famed Miami LB Willie Williams. He was a guy who decided to stay close to home in Florida and it didn't work out too well. I'm not saying it's an apples to apples comparison but we all know that Florida is a lot “faster" than Columbia.

Now, I personally don't know Keith, you're right but it's obviously being implied by many people that he has some maturity or primadonna issues. I don't understand why I'm being bashed when I WANT the Keith here and want what's best for the kid and I, along with his family apparently, think that it is here.

You mean besides that time he was dismissed from the team? Other than that he has done well. From afar Bryant's character doesn't impress me much. Don't really care if we get him. JMO.

I think that our staff could do wonders with him though. I don't understand why I'm being bashed when there are many others out there who feel the same way about Bryant. I want what's best for the guy and I think that involves signing a LOI at USC. If he decides not to, good luck wherever you land Mr. Bryant

That happened while while victor was in high school after his commitment. He was not kicked off the team as far as I can remember. That's nice that you don't "care for his character" without even knowing the guy. I'm sure our coaches will way your uninformed opinion heavily in their decision as to how much THEY want him. Not saying I will be distraught if we missed on him. Sometimes it's just not meant to be, but I am not going to be one ounce less stoked about getting him just because he is being accused of being immature, when that is already in line with my understanding of about 80% of 18 year-old-young men coming of High school.

I think that Vic Hampton was temporarily (one week or so) dismissed from our team but was reinstated and has been fine since.

I trust our coaches to be able to handle and develop Bryant, especially Deke and Whammy with whom KB could probably easily relate. He may have acted immaturely or disrespectfully, but that is not that bad to me especially considering how much attention these top recruits get 24/7 for over a year. It will settle down for him after he decides and I hope that he decides to don the G&B of our beloved Gamecocks.

Alright, well obviously I missed some of the trouble he had. Team rules things and academic issues. Still, I've seen where Keith has done anything to this level. Our coaches are not one to baby players. They might make demands and give players extra chances but they are not the kinds that are going to watch over them like a hawk and make sure they are getting up in the morning and check with their teachers to make sure they are doing all their homework and such. Some teams do that. So I'm going to just give the credit to Victor for bearing down and working out his struggles. And if for some reason a kid has issues, it's no big deal, that is why you recruit other players.

Now, my friend, you're starting to see the point were making. This is why we think he would be better suited here. Less distractions than those two colleges in Florida and our staff has typically done well with maturity issues and things like that. We're not saying he's a bad kid, but if what is being implied is true and he has maturity issues, then we think this school and staff would be better suited for him. The common line of thinking is that this is what his family is thinking too.
