Well it turns out that my friend Joey, misconstrued the elements of the story a bit... I talked to his dad last night and he said that he did over hear some of the guys talking about how Powell was calling all morning yesterday and he finally got through to Spurrier (not Jr) and that he told the young man, "IF" we do have an open spot for him than we would take him... However, Earl said he did tell Joey that the gentlemen (NOT SPURRIER) were saying that we should of told him that we were full... So I guess I will have to swallow this horse pill and apologize for the false info I posted on here last night... Even though I was just repeating what some Ignoramus had told me and I thought everyone would of found it as interesting as I did at the time... Well, if it were accurate that is, then it would of been interesting... Now it is just a mere picture of a half a dozen eggs on thy brow, or it may even be the crown & coke Earl shot out his mouth all over me, when I told him how I got on here and just posted away that fabrication of a story.... On a better note, he did give me a bottle of his finest Crown Royal, that is after I got done flushing my eyes out from all the projectile of Crown & Coke he just unleashed in my face from laughing so hard.. Yep, not one of my proudest moments I tell ya

Auburn is probably the 4th closest major school to us location-wise. Only Clemson, UGA, and Ga. Tech are closer, so we are recruiting a lot of the same areas.

He changed his mind. He made more visits here than any out of state recruit and told JR he was coming. He subsequently got a lot of pressure from other schools, particularly MD, and he backed off. But it was true at the time Jr made his quote. Obviously a silent commit is worth a warm bucket of spit in my opinion.

I'm not hearing a lot from our coaches lately. Perhaps they have a good feel for who they think is going to commit to us. But I just don't see any slient commits from our remaining 5. However, I will say if there is a silent commit, it's most likely to be Yannick after all the talk about staying local to MD.

I have not read everything on this thread and hope I am understanding why there are some reservations with Bryant. However, I took the reason Keith was sent home early is due to the fact that his mind is made up on where he wants to sign and he may have gotten impatient with the big sell that the schools have to do. I was hoping that it is USC.
