only thing about the pick that did disappoint me was that i didnt see LB as that big of a need, did think he was best on board but we needed help in almost everywhere on D but DE and LB

but i an look back and say im happy...we always do well in first rounds and then suck until the 7th

I knew he was good, but at the time, Beason was at MLB and had been great when healthy. And Luke was moving to OLB. Didn't know how he'd do and thought Melvin was a great fit for us, given his versatility and our need at DT.

Boy was I wrong. Luke is a beast. Our first round picks have turned to gold the last 2 years. Say what you want about Cam (I know as Carolina fans, he was hated) but did anyone really see him doing what he's done? Chud was a big part of it. Curious (And scared) to see what Shula does.

And my thing about Armanti Edwards. I like him. Saw him play in person when he was in college at App State in Boone in a playoff game. He was unreal. I don't mind him being in a Panthers uniform. We used a 2nd round pick on him. Lets use him in the game. Put him in that wildcat more. Punt return, he had a big one in the last game. I just wish they'd use him more. He brings more to the table than he's given credit.

when clausen was really fing everything up the year before cam, i dont understand why they didnt give armanti at least a shot at qb....didnt we start a guy name st pierre? that season

I want to know why so many mock drafts has the Panthers picking a DT for their first pick? Our offensive line needs work bad. Our running game sucked and it seemed Cam was running for his life 90% of the time. Despite having a crappy o-line, Cam still managed to pass for almost 4k yards. Just imagine what he can do with a good o-line.

we really need a DT more

LT is set with gross....if we keep him, they arent gonna give up on that LG just yet, Kalil back at C, RG is a toss up, and a lot of mock drafts ive see have us taking a OT in 2nd to put at RT

So let's say, theoretically, we could move one of our high-dollar RBs for one Chris Culliver. The salary differential would help us Cap-wise, and would (or would not) address issues in the secondary. Yea or Nay?

It was a question, man.

Tbh, he made some good plays out there, and some bad ones, too. He should have had an INT on that fly route where the WR committed PI. Flacco, Boldin and others played fantastic tonight.

Well I see what you are saying. Its more of a salary dump, right? We need to get more than that for one of the double trouble boys IMO. Cully would just be the same as we already have. An average DB in a group of a bunch of average DBs. I've seen him get torched way too many times.

I've kept up with him his whole defensive career. Some good, whole lot of bad. There's a reason why teams keep going after him.

Now as a kick returner, I could go for that.

We can do better. You've seen him play. I'm not bashing him. He helped USC win the East. But you know just as well as I, how many times do we accuratley predict offseason transactions involving trades? Not too often

You guys are forgetting that Cully shutdown Megatron in the regular season and other big named WR's. But personally I wouldn't mind drafting Swearinger but this new GM we have doesn't look at local talent......well except Clowney if we suck that bad next year.

Shoot I would gladly take Culliver. He at least plays aggressively and has a chance to play the ball. He is still pretty young as it is in current position. Do y'all want to keep Gamble with his 10 yd cushions, spotty tackling, and absolutely passive play?
