Either way I see it as a win-win for us: if we fill up our available scholarship spots in this class, the remaining targets we're going after look to all be solid to great prospects; if we don't and carry over vacant spots to our 2014 class, it'll just give us more chances to add to what looks to be an outstanding class for that cycle. I would like to see us get at least one more LB for this class however, to help mitigate the losses of Rolin and Langley....

Powell is undersized and his frame does not have a lot of room to add weight. He would be a Spur.

I'm just asking people to stop bashing the character of recruits we are trying land to until they actually get some solid details on an actual good reason. So, FAU uses Evans to get Bryant on campus and some of y'all feel bad because Bryant had a little to much fun on his visit? And isn't it funny that FAU tells both Bryant AND Evans to hit the road even though only Bryant was cited with "not taking the visit seriously." The only loser in this entire situation is Evans who really seems interested in FAU. I guarantee you: Evans would have NEVER gotten an invite to FAU if Bryant wouldn't have gone with him.

That sounds like some Clemson stuff there - using a player just to try and land his star teammate. I respect Bryant for going on the visit just to see if he could help land his teammate a scholarship offer. I'm not in favor of him not being respectful (if that was the case), but let's face it, FAU isn't exactly a "victim" here like some of you are making them out to be.

What is the big deal? Not taking a meaningless visit is hardly like getting 5-10 in Ft. Leavenworth. Yes, he should have been more serious, but FAU should never have invited him or his teammate, knowing they had zero chance of turning him. That's like inviting a fat guy to dinner and getting mad because he ate more than anyone else at the table. What did you expect?

I am very big on respect and obligation and following set rules, etc., but what little we know about what happened at FAU is so minor it is hardly worth a second thought. I would wager most other kids would not give FAU 100% attention under those same circumstances for which the visit was predicated. He shouldn't have taken the visit, but tried to help a friend, but FAU should not have used his friend in a vain attempt to land a kid that had no intention to come to your school in the first place. He is a 4**** recruit, the highest rated recruit to ever visit the program. That alone tells you their program doesn't have enough to interest top level recruits right now. They were both wrong. Let's leave it at that.

If our coaches want him here, I will trust their opinion much higher than anyone here (and they almost certainly will have more inside information and insight, too).

If he comes and is a model student-athlete, great. If not, he will be released. The coaches don't want a problem child, either.

Spur is one position and we have go lightly, diggs, and camara. There is no need to take a Spur. Moore has a bigger frame than Powell.
