In truth, my concern is that a bunch of concern trolls don't have a heart attack and die while still logged on to CockyTalk. It's a PITA when we loose our server. LOL.

What is going on here? Bryant went on the visit to support his friend who really wanted to play there. If FAU seriously thought they were going to get a package deal, those guys are the clowns. Bryant's buddy wanted him there, he went, he showed no interest, and he was asked to leave....as was his friend& I feel bad for that kid.

I am very big on respect and obligation and following set rules, etc., but what little we know about what happened at FAU is so minor it is hardly worth a second thought. He shouldn't have taken the visit, but tried to help a friend, but FAU should not have used his friend in a vain attempt to land a kid that had no intention to come to your school in the first place. He is a 4**** recruit, the highest rated recruit to ever visit the program. That alone tells you their program doesn't have enough to interest top level recruits right now. They were both wrong. Let's leave it at that.

If our coaches want him here, I will trust their opinion much higher than anyone here (and they almost certainly will have more inside information and insight, too).

If he comes and is a model student-athlete, great. If not, he will be released. The coaches don't want a problem child, either.

I agree. This is not only much ado about nothing...it is much ado about a nothing that we know nothing about.

You get 5 OV's...you are stupid if you don't let 5 different universities wine and dine you. Bryant, it seems, used one that he wasn't going to use to help out a friend. FAU picked up that he wasn't seriously looking at them and sent him packing. They also sent the recruit that he was trying to help packing. This will hurt FAU in the long run. Why now would any recruit waste an OV there if they might get sent home at the coaches' discresion?

This part of this thread is pointless. All that it does is show that Bryant has made up his mind and that he tried (perhaps half-heartedly) to help a friend. People letting their panties wad up over this are a disgrace.

Much like that barracuda, he won't have much room to grow there. If he thinks he can and wants to prove himself on the big stage, then he should come here. Either way, we'll be fine. I hope that he wants to prove himself and comes here, but, that decision is his.
